Fixing sideways photos or creating mirror-image reflections shouldn't require downloading heavy desktop software. The FluxToolkit Image Rotator is a lightweight, instant tool designed to correct camera orientation mistakes, flip selfies horizontally so text is readable, or turn images completely upside down—all directly in your browser.

How to Use the Image Rotator

1. Click Browse Files or drag and drop your image (PNG, JPEG, WebP) into the upload area.
2. To fix a sideways photo, use the Rotate buttons (+90° or -90°) to turn the image in 90-degree increments.
3. To create a mirror reflection, use the Flip Horizontal button. To turn the image upside down, use the Flip Vertical button.
4. Under Export Settings, choose your preferred final file format (PNG, JPEG, or WebP).
5. Click Download Image to save the corrected photo to your device.

Common Use Cases

Fixing Sideways Photos: Digital cameras and smartphones often write an EXIF orientation flag instead of actually rotating the pixels. This causes photos to appear sideways on older devices or websites. Rotating and exporting the image here permanently fixes the pixel orientation.

Un-mirroring Selfies: Front-facing smartphone cameras often save photos exactly as you saw them on screen (mirrored). Use the horizontal flip to un-mirror the photo so that text on clothing or signs is legible.

Creative Symmetrical Design: Graphic designers often flip textures or patterns vertically and horizontally to create seamless, symmetrical tiled backgrounds.

The FluxToolkit Image Rotator utilizes HTML5 Canvas technology to manipulate your images locally on your own CPU/GPU. When you load a photo and rotate it, the file never leaves your computer. We do not upload your media to any cloud servers, completely eliminating the risk of data breaches or unauthorized access to your personal files.
