Depending on the original file content (especially images), you can often reduce a PDF size by 40% to 80% with our recommended settings.
Our "Recommended" compression level is designed to reduce size without any visible loss in quality for standard document viewing. "Extreme" compression may result in slightly lower image resolution to achieve maximum savings.
If you have the password, our tool can open, optimize, and then re-save the document. We do not support compressing encrypted files without the correct credentials.
